HEALTH CARE SERVICES FACILITATOR
SASKATOON OFFICE
Permanent Full Time

The facilitator identifies and resolves problems that develop during treatment or return-to-work programs and works closely with health care professionals, treatment centres, employers, and injured workers.  The facilitator works with a team of WCB staff including case managers and claims entitlement specialists.  The role of the facilitator includes resolving conflicts in medical opinion through education, explanation, mediation and may involve work site visitations.

Qualifications:  

Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist; current licensure/registration with the S.R.N.A., S.S.O.T., or S.C.P.T.; a minimum of one year experience is required in the following areas:  conflict resolution, case management, medical interpretation, functional rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.   Excellent computer skills are required.  Candidates must be willing and able to travel within the province.  A valid driver's license is required. 

The incumbent works Monday to Friday, day shifts.  A copy of the job description and summary of benefits is available upon request.   Salary is $50K to $64K dependent upon experience.  Hours worked per year are 1820 hours.
