41 pages

This book provides a general overview of all the muscle groups and different ways to achieve a good stretch in spite of physical limitations. Everybody Stretch would be beneficial for occupational therapists to use with clients because of how it outlines various modifications for each exercise. The book would also be useful for multiple sclerosis clients at varying stages of the disease. It encourages one to keep up with exercises without setting unrealistic expectations. The book is well laid out, the diagrams are simple, and the instructions easy to follow. The book is bound together in such a way that it lays flat and the pages open easily making it very suitable for use by those with physical limitations. It is a recommended resource for therapists and clients and can to be downloaded at http://mssociety.ca/en/help/publications. htm . A hard copy may be ordered via 1-800-268-7582, and depending on where one lives, it may be free.
