Welcome, occupational therapy students!
Free student memberships
CAOT student membership is free and available for all individuals enrolled in an entry-level occupational therapy program in Canada leading to an occupational therapy education. Take full advantage of CAOT's student services - click here to join today.
To join CAOT as a student member you will be asked to provide the information listed below.
- Full name and current mailing address
- University name and program
- Email address - E-mail address must be the one provided to you by your university. Personal e-mail addresses from other third party providers (e.g. Yahoo or Hotmail) will disable your free membership without notice.
- Year of graduation
All student members must agree to abide by the Association’s bylaws and code of ethics.
Upon joining CAOT you will have immediate access to a full range of member benefits, including all online member services through the use of a temporary identification number that will be valid for seven days. Once CAOT has confirmed your eligibility for a free student membership, your file will be updated to a student member file and your temporary ID will become your active ID. Please note that student memberships are valid until September 30th each year and are automatically renewed for anyone listing a graduation date beyond the current year.

As a student member you are eligible for a 25% discount on all CAOT publications, including occupational therapy textbooks.
