Enabling Occupation II: A Review and Discussion
CAOT has a long history of working together with members to provide a vision for the conceptual grounding, processes and outcomes of occupational therapy in Canada. In 2007, CAOT launched the eighth set of guidelines for occupational therapy in Canada, Enabling Occupation II: Advancing an Occupational Therapy Vision for Health, Well-being, & Justice through Occupation. This guideline document introduces the Canadian Practice Process Framework (CPPF).
This session will help address practice concerns using the CPPF for documentation and practice. Building upon practitioners’ expertise, participants will gain an appreciation of the potential benefits of the process framework and its utilization in daily practice to enhance occupation-based enablement.
