New CAOT Strategic Plan 2016-2019

As CAOT honours 90 years as an association, we are proud to share a new strategic plan, articulating our ambitions for the years 2016 to 2019. In support of the CAOT Mission and Vision, four broad strategic priorities have been set out.

Meet CAOT President Nicola MacNaughton

CAOT welcomes Nicola MacNaughton OT Reg.(NB), CDMP, CCLCP as the incoming president of the CAOT Board of Directors. Nicola begins her two-year term October 1 2016. The President is the chief elected officer of the organization, selected by the members to serve as the ambassador for professional occupational therapists in Canada. The role reports to the members annually at the Annual General Meeting on key activities, professional trends and current events relevant to the profession in Canada.


FIND an OT is an easy to use tool that allows people to connect and find the occupational therapy services that are right for them, their clients or their families.

CAOT Call for Awards Nominations 2017

CAOT invites members to nominate worthy colleagues for any of the CAOT awards. Our awards strive to recognize and honour the outstanding contributions of individuals and groups to the Association and the profession. CAOT is accepting nominations until December 1st, 2016.

Stable, Able and Strong

The Stable, Able and Strong project developed for older adults who have experienced a fall, to enable them to maintain or resume meaningful activities in their home and community.

The Tools for Living Well Project

Its' aim was to prevent falls among seniors and veterans. Learn more about the project and view the resources available.
