Career Services Team Lead

The Career Services Team Lead will be responsible to develop, implement and coordinate a career counseling and placement program for persons with disabilities.  This would include marketing the services to potential referral sources. 

The role is a working team role that provides career counseling services to clients, establishing realistic career plans and objectives, establishing and maintaining liaison with employer representatives; and conducting studies of career development patterns and employment trends.

You will have:

• a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related field
• a minimum of 3 years Human Resources, Occupational Therapy, Vocational Services and/or Career Development leadership experience
• familiarity in working with persons with disabilities
• understanding of multicultural career services
• experience with building successful partnerships with the business community
• a spirit of enthusiasm and energy
• excellent leadership skills (interpersonal, team collaboration, problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making)

Reporting to the Team Lead will be Career Services Consultant(s)
