Extendicare (Canada) Inc one of the largest providers of long term care services in Canada, invites applications to the positions of Occupational Therapist for the following positions available in our Extendicare Michener Hill facility located in Red Deer, Alberta
- 0.6 fte part time position (temporary)
- 0.4 fte permanent part time position
As a vital member of the Clinical team, the Occupational Therapist
- Will possess a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy and hold an active license with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists; experience with seniors and the long term care environment will be considered an asset
- Will possess the knowledge and ability to assess, plan, direct and evaluate a variety of specific treatment and therapy programs as may be required including interventions re positioning, seating, skin and wound assessment, cognition
- Will value and promote the highest quality care outcomes for each resident; be an advocate for quality care delivery and customer satisfaction
- Will be a team player who values and seeks the contribution required of each member of the care team
