JOB SUMMARY:

• Complete comprehensive client assessments on admission, quarterly, and with change in status.
• Provide appropriate equipment and treatment recommendations.
• Provide clinical direction to therapy assistants.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plan as required.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary care team, clients, and families.
• Attend care conferences as needed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programming in collaboration with the Rehabilitation Coordinator.
• Assist with staff education as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active registration with ACOT.
• Minimum Baccalaureate degree from a university recognized by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists.
• AADL Authorizer status is an asset.
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Good organization and time management skills.
