This webinar will cover the presenter’s experiences and evidence-informed approaches to working with children and teens with anxiety. The strengths and challenges of anxiety will be overviewed. The application of standard anxiety treatments when working with children and adolescents (with a focus on exposure-based cognitive-behavioural therapy), and complementary ways that occupational therapists can offer enhanced anxiety management approaches (e.g., sensory-motor self-regulation strategies and other self-regulation approaches). The webinar also asks a fundamental question – “Doesn’t all therapy involve a certain amount of exposure to our fears? Doesn’t a meaningful life?” The presenter will share his significant clinical experience in this area of practice.

CAOT will not provide a refund after the registration deadline. If you are unable to attend the Webinar live, all webinars are recorded (unless there are exceptional technical difficulties) and registrants receive access to the recording following the Webinar.
