Creating and Implementing a Graduated Return-To-Work Plan (March 10, 2015)

This webinar will provide some guidelines to assist the OT Case Manager in developing and implementing a graduated return-to-work (GRTW) plan, and tips to help to ensure that the client’s return to work (RTW) is both successful and durable. Ideas for GRTW plans for clients with a variety of medical conditions and functional limitations (physical, cognitive & social/ psychological) will be reviewed.

After taking part in this webinar, participants will:

  1. Be able to recognize potential barriers to the RTW process, and learn some strategies to address these barriers.
  2. Explain the difference between "restrictions" and "limitations" within the context of Disability/RTW Case Management.
  3. Be able to identify key components of a GRTW plan.
  4. Be able to anticipate potential roadblocks that could occur during a Graduated Return-To-Work Plan.
  5. Learn strategies to lay the groundwork for a successful and durable RTW.
