This webinar will focus on the practical application to client care. The presentation reviews the process and different stages of driving from the healthy adult driver to the medically impaired driver. The occupational therapist's role and tier of expertise for each stage is discussed. Strategies and resources to facilitate client communication and education are provided. This presentation is directed to the generalist occupational therapist who completes driver screening and is looking for more information. This is a five part webinar series.

1. Be informed of best practices in the screening of medically at-risk drivers and the evidence to date in this field of practice;
2. Be able to identify key components/tools to include in an office-based screening;
