This webinar will present the Occupational Therapy Process Enabling Safe Participation in Driving, an algorithm and accompanying appendices guiding occupational therapists through the process of enabling safe driving. They provide and briefly outline the process of developing an algorithm for occupational therapists engaging in enabling clients to engage in driving. They will also review the algorithm through a case study to demonstrate its use.
This is a five part webinar series.

After taking part in this webinar, participants will:

1. Be informed of best practices in the screening of medically at-risk drivers and the evidence to date in this field of practice;
2. Be able to identify key components/tools to include in an office-based screening;
3. Improve their confidence and competence at a generalist level across clinical settings;
4. Build leadership capacity in our professional role in this field of practice.
