This webinar will provide an introduction to the series and will also focus on the current state of affairs related to assessing driving and rehabilitation. They will present the notion of a competence continuum and a continuum of practice (screening, referral process, driving retirement), and will include topics such as the duty to report (how it varies provincially and the need for a national strategy). This is a five part webinar series.

After taking part in this webinar, participants will:

1. Be informed of best practices in the screening of medically at-risk drivers and the evidence to date in this field of practice;
2. Be able to identify key components/tools to include in an office-based screening;
3. Improve their confidence and competence at a generalist level across clinical settings;
