Description

ON-DEMAND WEBINAR PURCHASE (INDIVIDUAL)

Understanding the features of environments and how these support people with a variety of health conditions to participate in routine daily living activities, roles and interests is a key component of occupational therapy practice. In this webinar, we will explore the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) concept of environment, providing an understanding of the combined influence of space, objects, social groups and expectations and opportunities to participate in routine living activities for people with complex illness. This will include identifying environmental challenges for people with complex illness and developing optimal environments to support participation.

After taking part in this webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Identify key features of the environment (as defined in MOHO) that impact on participation in daily living activities, roles and interests.
2. Understand how environmental opportunities, support, demands and constraints can be measured to identify impact on participation for people with complex illness.
3. Identify how concepts can be applied within their practice context to support participation.

This purchase is for individual access to the On-Demand Practice Evidence Webinar from October 24th, 2017. Access to the recording, handouts and certificate is provided by email immediately following purchase. No cancellations/refunds will be provided once the purchase is completed.
