How can I order CAOT publications and other products?

You may order a CAOT product one of the following ways:
a. Online, by visiting our online store

c. By completing and sending an order form:

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, cheques, international money orders or wire transfers (with possible international banking charges) for CAOT products. Click here for more information on methods of payment.

Will I receive a proof of purchase? (How do I know my order was processed?)

After your order has been processed, you should first see a confirmation page appear on your screen that you should print for your records. Next, you will receive an email to the address you provided with a purchase invoice including all of the information you provided when processing your order. If you do not receive an email within 2 days, please contact the CAOT National office at publications@caot.ca to ensure your order was processed correctly.

How quickly will I receive my order?

Canadian Orders:  Depending on the shipping method you have selected as well as the shipping address location, your order could take up to 10 days to arrive. Express shipping and Priority Courier are available to ensure the fastest shipping.  Click here for more details and/or to view United States and international shipping times.

Who do I contact if I am experiencing difficulties purchasing an e-book or other purchase online?

Do I receive a discount on CAOT products if I am a CAOT member?

CAOT members receive a 25% discount on most CAOT publications. Please be aware that you must be a current member of CAOT to receive member benefits such as publications discounts. 
*NOTE: CAOT members must have an active CAOT member ID (login) and password to receive the member price for a selected product, so please have your member ID  and password available prior to making a purchase. If you have forgotten your CAOT member ID, contact publications@caot.ca.  If you know your member ID but have forgotten your password, click here to create a new password.

I am a new customer but I am not a CAOT member.  How do I set up an account?

Any non-member of CAOT must create a new account to make a purchase.  Once you have selected a product to add to your cart, you will be prompted to create an account under the “Non-members” classification.

Any non-member of CAOT must create a new account to make a purchase, even if you have purchased from our online store before. Once you have selected a product to add to your cart, you will be prompted to create an account under the “Non-members” classification.

What are your copyright policies? (How do I obtain copyright permission?)

For all CAOT publications, written permission must be obtained in order to reproduce or reprint any material from one of our publications. To obtain copyright permission, please email copyright@caot.ca. What is your return policy?

Returns must first be approved by the CAOT Publications Department and have been purchased within 1 year of return date.  Returned products must be in resalable condition and of the current edition. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client. For more details, including restocking fees, subscriptions refunds, and further exceptions to the CAOT return policy, click here.
*NOTE: there are no returns on electronic books (e-books).*
