CAOT’s mission is to advance excellence in occupational therapy. Please find below the current opportunities to get involved with Professional Development activities.

Call for papers for the 2019 conference will open in Fall 2018.

Practice Evidence Webinars (formerly CAOT Lunch & Learn webinars) provide evidence-informed, occupation-based and practical skills and information that occupational therapists can take away and apply in their practice. They are offered on a wide range of topics to match the areas of practice of CAOT members and they allow an opportunity for a live question and answer period.

If you would be interested in presenting a Practice Evidence Webinar, please complete the proposal form and send it to

Workshops are one- to three-day live in-person events that provide evidence-informed, occupation-based and hands-on learning opportunities so occupational therapists can learn knowledge and skills for their practice. They include various learning and interactive activities including presentations, demonstrations, group discussions, hands-on activities and the opportunity to ask questions.
