CAOT is creating a new series of practice resources for our members. These new role papers will describe the unique role and area of competency of occupational therapists within the Canadian health care system, in serving specific populations, or in enabling occupations through a specific area of expertise.
CAOT Role Papers are informed by current evidence and are developed by members for members. Consequently, part of the process involves a consultation phase that will provide all CAOT members with the opportunity to read and comment on the first draft of these documents.
We encourage your involvement in providing feedback on the CAOT Role Paper ‘Occupational Therapists Address Primary Care.’ CAOT members have until December 20th to read and comment on the first draft of this role paper; the second in a series designed to describe the unique roles and areas of competency that occupational therapists occupy within the Canadian health care system, in serving specific populations, or in enabling occupations through a specific area of expertise. Your participation in this important practice resource is appreciated.
