ON-DEMAND WEBINAR PURCHASE

Presented by: Lisa Engel

Financial management activities are ubiquitous and important daily occupations for most adults in North America. Occupational therapists have a growing role in assessing and addressing client financial management capability, financial occupations, and financial well-being. However, many occupational therapists have questions about evidence-informed practice in this area.

This webinar will explore the evidence and practice guidance for occupational therapists addressing client financial related activities and occupations. Using evidence-informed frameworks from the areas of economics, neuropsychology, health, and rehabilitation, this webinar will explore current knowledge and thinking related to the areas of financial capability and financial well-being. From a biopsychosocial perspective that acknowledges the salient role of environment and context, this webinar will also explore evidence-informed assessment and intervention practice related to client financial activities and occupations. Evidence discussed in this webinar will be related across different diagnostic populations including adults living with mental health issues, acquired brain injury, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and different neurological conditions.

After participating in this webinar, participants will be able to:
   1. To define the areas of financial capability and financial well-being and discuss an evidence-informed financial activity process framework.
   2. To identify the evidence and considerations for use for of at least 2 current financial occupations related assessments
   3. To identify at least 2 currently available financial programs and/or evidence-informed intervention strategies relevant to client financial occupations.
