Purpose

To create a supportive community within CAOT where network members can access evidence-based research, education, guidance and foster connections in treating chronic pain.

Objectives

  • To create an accessible and supportive network dedicated to enhancing clinical practice for OTs from public, private and/or rural health settings;
  • To promote pain education, deepen network members’ knowledge base and promote the development of skills for better treatment;
  • To provide a platform for members to discuss barriers to practice, seek guidance or share knowledge;
  • To foster confidence and promote resiliency for OTs working in complex pain;
  • To create opportunities for OTs to showcase their knowledge and clinical/research findings within the CAOT community
