Occupation in Practice Network

Purpose

Act as a resource for occupational therapists to foster education on occupation and integration of occupation into occupational therapy practice and to provide evidence-based education on the value of occupation in practice

Objectives

• Knowledge translation of occupation-based models, theories, frames of reference into practice; occupation-focused assessments; occupation-focused interventions
• Create resources to facilitate occupation-based practice
• Develop skills to mitigate adverse effects of practice and health care models and systems on realizing occupation-based occupational therapy practice
